At Tails and Traills, we know how important it is to start your puppy off on the right paw. That’s why we offer Puppy Board and Train—a personalized in our home training experience designed to give your puppy structure, confidence, and a solid foundation for a well-balanced life.

Your puppy will live with us in our home for a minimum of 7 days and up to 14 days, where they’ll receive consistent training, socialization, and guidance throughout their daily routine.

What’s Included:

Customized Puppy Assessment

We begin with a detailed assessment of your puppy’s current behavior and your long-term training goals. From there, we create a plan that focuses on key puppy foundations.

Daily Training & Structure

Throughout their stay, your puppy will learn and practice:

• Crate training & calm settling

• Potty routines

• Basic obedience (sit, down, stay, recall)

• Confidence-building games

• Proper leash walking & polite greetings

• Exposure to new sights, sounds, surfaces, and environments

Two-Legged Follow-Up Sessions

Once your puppy has completed their stay, we’ll schedule 1 private session with you to:

• Show you everything your puppy has learned

• Teach you how to maintain and build on their progress

• Answer your questions and provide hands-on support

You’ll also receive a personalized training plan to help reinforce and expand on what your puppy has learned at home.
